Invoice Spark terms of use
These terms govern your use of the Invoice Spark Android app (com.invoicespark.app) and this website. Installing or using the app means you accept them.
1. Your licence
BytesFlux grants you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and use Invoice Spark on devices you own or control, for your own business or personal invoicing.
The app has two plans. The Free plan is provided at no cost and includes a monthly allowance of invoices, described on the pricing page. Pro is a paid subscription that lifts that allowance, removes the watermark from exported PDFs and enables Cloud Backup. Section 6 covers billing.
2. What you may not do
- Copy, decompile, reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense or republish the app or a modified version of it.
- Use the app to create invoices that are fraudulent, misleading, or otherwise unlawful in your jurisdiction.
- Use the Invoice Spark or BytesFlux names, logos or branding in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation you do not have.
3. Your content is yours
Everything you enter — your business details, logo, clients, line items and completed invoices — belongs to you. BytesFlux claims no ownership over it. The app stores it on your device; a copy exists on our infrastructure only if you are a Pro subscriber and have enabled Cloud Backup, and then only to store and restore it for you. See the privacy policy for detail.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you put on an invoice, including tax rates, tax registration numbers and the invoice numbering required in your country.
4. Not financial, tax or legal advice
Invoice Spark is a document tool. The templates, tax fields and any guidance published on this website are general information, not accounting, tax or legal advice, and requirements differ by country and change over time. Confirm your invoicing and tax obligations with a qualified professional or your local tax authority before relying on them.
5. Backups and data loss
On the Free plan, and on Pro without Cloud Backup enabled, the app is local-only and you are responsible for your own backups. Export invoices you need to keep as PDFs and store them somewhere you control. BytesFlux cannot recover data from a lost, reset, damaged or wiped device in those circumstances, and is not liable for it.
Cloud Backup is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. It materially reduces the risk of losing your invoice history, but no backup service is guaranteed, and you should still keep your own copies of invoices that matter to you.
6. The Pro subscription and billing
Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Google Play at the price shown in the store for your country, which may differ from the US price shown on this site because of local taxes and currency. By subscribing you agree that:
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You manage and cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions, not inside the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy. Consumer rights you have under the law of your country are not affected.
When a subscription ends you return to the Free plan. Invoices already on your device remain readable; the Free plan's monthly invoice allowance applies again to new invoices, and new PDF exports carry the watermark. We may change the price or what each plan includes, with notice for existing subscribers via the store as Google Play requires.
7. Availability and changes
The app is provided as-is and may be updated, changed or discontinued at any time. An installed copy will keep working on your device whether or not further updates are released. We may amend these terms; the current version always lives on this page with the revision date below.
8. Warranty and liability
Invoice Spark is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BytesFlux is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or affects consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
9. Google Play
The app is distributed through Google Play, and your use of Google Play is subject to Google's own terms. Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app.
