Invoice Spark is an invoice maker app for Android, built for freelancers, contractors and small business owners who bill from a phone rather than a laptop. You create an invoice, estimate or receipt, export it as a PDF and send it by WhatsApp or email — usually in under a minute.

- Is Invoice Spark really free?
- There is a permanent free plan that covers 3 invoices every month, with all four templates, unlimited clients, estimates and receipts, every supported currency and tax rate, and full offline use. It is not a trial and it does not expire. Beyond 3 invoices in a month, or if you want watermark-free PDFs and cloud backup, Pro is $4.99 per month. There are no ads on either plan.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, completely. Invoice Spark stores everything on your phone and needs no internet connection to create, edit, export or print an invoice. You only need connectivity at the moment you choose to send a PDF by email or WhatsApp — and you can export the file offline and send it later.
- Do invoices have a watermark?
- On the free plan, yes — exported PDFs carry an Invoice Spark watermark. Removing it is one of the three things the $4.99 a month Pro subscription buys, alongside unlimited invoices and cloud backup. Pro exports carry no watermark and no app branding at all.
- Do I need to create an account?
- Not to create invoices. There is no sign-up, no email and no password needed for the free plan or for any offline work — install the app and the first invoice screen is right there. The one exception is cloud backup on Pro, which has to identify your backup in order to restore it to you.
- Can I add VAT, GST or sales tax?
- Yes. You can set a tax rate and apply it to the whole invoice or per line item, and combine it with per-item discounts. The label is yours to set, so it reads VAT, GST, sales tax or any local equivalent on the finished PDF, and the totals are calculated for you.
- Which currencies are supported?
- Invoice Spark supports USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, PKR, INR, AED and SAR, plus many more. You pick the currency per invoice, so billing an overseas client in USD and a local client in PKR from the same phone is normal use, not a workaround.
- Can I send invoices on WhatsApp?
- Yes. Export the invoice as a PDF and share it through Android's standard share sheet — WhatsApp, email, Messenger, Telegram, Drive or any other app installed on your phone. You can also print directly to any printer your phone can reach.
- Where is my data stored, and what happens if I lose my phone?
- By default your invoices, clients and business details are stored only in the app's local storage on your device and nothing is uploaded. The honest consequence is that on the free plan there is no cloud copy to restore from — lose the phone without a backup and that data is gone, so export important invoices as PDFs and keep Android's own backup switched on. Cloud backup, which does keep a restorable copy, is a Pro feature and is opt-in.
